The word 'corsage' (pronounced to rhyme with 'large') comes originally from 'cors', an old French word for body and was originally used to mean a bodice. It was then extended to mean a decorative spray of flowers pinned to a woman's clothes. Jane has taken up this old term for her beautiful flower-like brooches, each one individual and unique, made from coloured and natural feathers, ribbons, beads and yarns. |
